I just got an email from my mom telling me that there was a stabbing just a block away from her home (where I grew up) behind my old elementary school. I was shocked. They live in a very nice upper middle class neighborhood in Kirkland, WA. It's about 1/2 hour away from Seattle. I guess there were two 17 year old boys who tried to stab a man to death so that they could have his iPod. Can you believe the disregard these two boys had for a human life? It's just terrible.
